Guest Spotlight with Lisa Tanja

In the Spotlight....

Lisa's shop is all about eye catching, handmade crochet blankets, dolls and cute home decor. Let's read more from this mother and daughter team on running their business.

Tell us about your work-space?
My mom and I work from home, anywhere in the house really, haha. We crochet most days, anything from baby items to home decoration.

Where do you find your inspiration?
Honestly, on Pinterest. But also a lot of our customers inspire us to take on new projects known as custom orders. Half of our catalogue is custom orders.

What are some of your goals, hopes and dreams for your shop?
We don't really have any set goals, other than to continued satisfying people with our skilled hands.

How did you first become interested in making your products?
My mom was the first one to catch interest in the crochet world. It was 2013. She didn't have a job so she started looking for some hobbies. I started the summer of 2015 when I was fresh out of high school.

Do you work on your shop full-time?
Yes, you could say that.

Do any of your design have a special personal meaning for you?
We put so much work and love into our products, so yes, They all have a piece of our hearts.

What are your goals for your business in the coming year?
We want our business to grown a little bit more, gain a wider audience. We started selling on Etsy not too long ago, while we were already busy selling on Facebook.
