This time I am doing something a little bit different. I am doing an interview/Giveaway on my blog and today interview is with Lyli of Lylicraft Shop on Etsy. She makes these adorable pillow case with bold colors and beautiful design. In addition to her pillows, she also sell purses that are so cute and colorful. Be sure to check out her Etsy shop. She currently lives in Malaysia. We are so excited that your were able to take some time to answer a few question.
1. How did you get into crafting?
I was the only girl in my family. My mom and grandma like to sew, crochet and crafting. Both of them have the sewing machines and they will sewing curtains, dress, shirt, pillows or anything during their free time. I always watch them sewing and very interested on it. So one day I'm making myself a simple pencil case and I'm very happy with it. Then later I'm exploring more challenging sewing projects like sewing curtains and dresses. My mom is very happy with it and from there I start sewing for her, family and friends. Other than sewing I also enjoy other craft works like crocheting, embroidery and making paper flowers for home or wedding.
2. How would you describe your style?
I love to make something simple but functional and multi-purpose. Most of us would carry many small items in our bag. So that simple zippered purses will help us to be more organize. My favorite prints are vintage, butterfly, Paris theme, floral or cute animals. For the home decor, I like to make throw pillow covers and floral pillow covers would be nice on couch, sofa or bed. It would add a little bit of bohemian style to your home.
